The Broadway and National Touring Companies of Wicked will hold an open casting call for singers in Chicago this month.

I am joined by seasoned Bway performer, music director, conductor, and vocal coach, Dan Micciche! Dan holds the distinction of being the youngest person to ever play the role of Mary Sunshine in Chicago at the age of 22. We talk all about his amazing 6 years with the Broadway, touring, and international companies of Chicago, and what it means to be part of such an iconic show.

Since Wicked opened on Broadway in 2003, 25 women have taken the stage as Elphaba, and 19 more have portrayed Glinda- and those figures don't even include the many understudies and standbys who have also covered the beloved roles. Many of those women were on hand Monday night as the show celebrated its 20th anniversary.
