West End Theatres to Dim Lights for Michael Gambon on Friday Evening
WEST END THEATRES TO DIM LIGHTS IN HONOUR OF MICHAEL GAMBON. The West End will pay tribute to the late Sir Michael Gambon by dimming their lights for 2 minutes at 7pm on Friday, September 29th. Gambon had a remarkable career spanning six decades and was a member of the Royal National Theatre.

Following the sad news of the passing of Michael Boyd, West End theatres will dim their lights for 2 minutes in his memory at 7pm on Tuesday 8 August. Michael was an incredibly respected force within the industry and will be remembered for his visionary tenure as Artistic Director of the RSC between 2002 – 2012.

On Monday, July 24, Birdland Jazz Club celebrated the landmark 20th Anniversary of its wildly popular weekly open mic night/variety show “Jim Caruso’s Cast Party.” The evening featured regular favorites, as well as special surprise guests.
